These are our choices for local restaurants.  If, during your stay, you find something wonderful, please share it with us so that we may recommend it to our guests.  Except for the really busy times of the year (Christmas holidays, high ski season, and weekends throughout the summer and winter), many of the local restaurants offer really great specials ~ check out the Summit Daily (the local free newspaper available in stands throughout the county) for two-for-one specials at even the best restaurants.  (Don't worry ~ everyone carries coupons and nobody will tag you as a tourist if you take advantage of these specials.)  Even a couple of the five-star restaurants offer twofers at times during the year ~ what a terrific way to enjoy a fabulous meal!!!!

KEYSTONE

Alpenglow Stube - (970) 496-4386 - Perfect place for a marriage proposal, an anniversary dinner, or just a memorable evening. Take the gondola to the top of Keystone mountain at dusk to a 5-star restaurant at the summit. Plan on spending over $200 for two people, but this is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Reservations required. DRESS WARM!  (Look for twofers in the Spring)

*Der Fondue Chessel - (970) 496-4386 - This restaurant is also at the top of Keystone mountain. The gondola ride is great. The Chessel is a fondue restaurant. Nothing fancy, but the food is great and it's an EVENT....not just a meal. Plan on 3-4 hours for the entire evening. Reservations required. DRESS WARM!

Keystone Ranch - (970) 496-4386 - Five star restaurat located less than one mile from The House at Keystone Ranch and next door to The Meadow House at Keystone Ranch.  This is a popular site for upscale weddings and receptions.  It's certainly not inexpensive, but it's a wonderful setting with fabulous food and service ~ something that you'll never forget.

Snake River Saloon -     - This is my favorite place for a steak and a potato.

Arapahoe Cafe - (970) 468-0873

*Ristorante Al Lago - (970) 468-6111 - Family-owned and operated Italian restaurant. This may be the best Italian restaurant we've ever visited.

*Dam Brewery - (970)         - This is a terrific microbrewery!  The best place in town for a burger and a beer.  Try the MO burger!

FRISCO

*Blue Spruce Inn - (970) 668-5900
Locals' favorite. Great, upscale food, nice wine, and a tremendous atmosphere. Romantic.

*Boatyard Pizza - (970) 668-4728 - Don't let the name fool you ~ this is probably the best restaurant in the county.  This place has a terrific, ecclectic menu and EVERYTHING is fantastic!  Order the Seared Ahi Appetizer!

BRECKENRIDGE

Hearthstone Inn - (970) 453-1148

Downstairs at Eric's - If you are traveling with kids, this is the spot.  There's a wide menu and the prices aren't too bad ~ the food is pretty good and there is an arcade to keep everyone busy while you wait for your burgers, salads, and pizza.
